Categories: Borders Knox City, Six book launch

What a fun night we had at Borders Knox City – a gorgeous space, great staff and loads of family, friends and fans to help officially launch Six into the big wide world.

Special mentions to:
Sue Lawson, official launcher, who travelled far to be there, BK and BAM who supplied some yummies, the bdb gang supportive as always, Bryce for the impromptu intro, Megan who took several modes of public transport to get there and Amy with an A who got the night off from work to also be there. Great to see you all. Thanks for making it such a memorable event.

PS – Good to see you Carole – and no it wasn’t quite ten minutes.

Congrats, Karen. All the best for the success of Six.

Hey Karen! Congratulations! It's always so wonderful to have our loved ones and close friends by our side when we go through riveting experiences and great triumphs in life 🙂

I recently purchased 6 from Borders because it had been chosen by my university group to do our final literature in education assessment on. I loved it! I would have read this book, even if I didn't have to read it for assessment.
I love the twist – even though it did make me sad. I love the topic you touched on in it – this novel would make a great teaching tool in English classrooms – (which is why we chose it, of course!)

Anyway, enough of my ranting, just wanted to post a comment to let you know that your book is great and given the chance, I will definitely be using it to teach my high school English students when I become a teacher 🙂

    All the best! 🙂

Hi Sue, thanks for your kind thoughts.

Hi Jo'bo, how on earth did it get picked up by your uni group so quickly? I really would love to know. Hope there was enough in there for you to work with. Good luck with the course.

Hey Dee, yes, it was a hoot! Sorry you couldn't be there.
